These are some sketches from the Barcelona Zoo. 


The hyenas were by far the best subjects. They sleep in contorted piles. It is a dead sleep.

    Utterly delightful sketches, Mary! The bird and ....gnu? are my favourite, also the stark Japanese-type branches on your wallpaper. Just beautiful. Bonne chance, belle! Mary P
